Formed at historic Howard University, and continuing the rich tradition of legendary musical predecessors like Richard Smallwood, Donny Hathaway and Angela Winbush, Shai continues to wow present-day audiences. When R&B quartet Shai burst onto the scene in the early 90s with their breakout hit “If I ever Fall In Love Again,” it was a refreshing take on male quartet singing, and the a cappella version was just as popular as the original. From their breakout hit “Tell Me,” to the scathing “In My Bed,” to their inspirational anthem “Five Steps,” to breakout solo star Sisqo’s “Thong Song,” the collective known as Dru Hill has amassed a catalog of memorable hits which they are still performing and will bring to Arena Theatre for this special night.
